- ➤ Placer County will recruit volunteers for its 2026 Free Tax Prep program, which helps residents earning $69,000 or less with tax filing. Training starts January 7, and services will run from February 2 to April 3 in Roseville plus other local sites. Roseville Today
- ➤ Downtown Roseville will host the Santa Hustle Race Series on Sunday, Dec. 14 with 5K, 10K and Kids Dash at Vernon Street Town Square. Participants will receive Santa-themed gear as registration fees help support Stand Up Placer, the local charity assisting abuse survivors. Roseville Today
