Placer County will recruit volunteers for its 2026 Free Tax Prep program, which helps residents earning $69,000 or less with tax filing.
Training starts January 7, and services will run from February 2 to April 3 in Roseville plus other local sites.
Downtown Roseville will host the Santa Hustle Race Series on Sunday, Dec.
14 with 5K, 10K and Kids Dash at Vernon Street Town Square. Participants will receive Santa-themed gear as registration fees help support Stand Up Placer, the local charity assisting abuse survivors.
