Good morning, Roseville.

Today at Eich Middle School, Friends of Meadow Oaks and local experts are hosting Watershed Health & Safety Night from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.—the event will cover flood hazard mitigation, creek habitat, and watershed health in areas like Cirby and Linda Creeks, and anyone under 18 must attend with a guardian.

Roseville residents buying frozen turkeys for Thanksgiving should keep the bird cold as it can stay good for up to two years and may include a basting solution (water, salt, and spices) for flavor.

The USDA recommends planning for about 24 hours of thaw time per four pounds in the fridge or using cold-water thawing, and if roasting from frozen, expect cooking time to increase by at least 50%.
