- ➤ Fair Oaks residents celebrated the grand opening of a new performing arts center and village park that feature a revamped Veterans Memorial Amphitheater with modern seating, equipment and a black box theater for year-round shows. The $26.9 million project—funded by Measure J and planned since 2010—sparked a four-day celebration that includes a Folk Festival starting at noon today. KCRA
