ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Twelve Bridges High School and Twelve Bridges Middle School were evacuated out of an abundance of caution when a fire burned along Highway 65 near Twelve Bridges Drive in Lincoln around 4 p.m. on Monday, and Cal Fire along with the Roseville Fire Department helped contain the blaze. KCRA
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Sacramento-area fight promoter Nasser Niavaroni will host a 10-fight professional boxing card at The Venue at Thunder Valley in Lincoln on September 6 at 7 p.m.-the card includes two women’s bouts and is the largest pro boxing show in Northern California this year. Local fighter Vicky Zhao, who has a perfect 22-0 amateur record but is winless as a pro, will try to earn her first official win while Chinese heavyweight champion Junlong Zhang makes his U.S. debut.
