BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ Sutter Health agreed in April to settle a class action lawsuit for $228.5 million and is mailing notices to eligible Northern California residents who lived in certain counties from 2011 to 2021 and had insurance from Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield of California, Health Net or United Healthcare; affected residents must file a claim by Sept. 12. The lawsuit, originally filed in 2012 amid charges of antitrust and unfair competition that drove up insurance premiums, was resolved after a trial decision in 2022 was overturned in 2024. KCRA
