- ➤ Homeowners in Roseville can protect their privacy from potential burglars using Google Maps and Apple Maps by blurring their house images—search your address on Google Maps, click the street view picture, select the three dots to report a problem, or use the Look Around feature on Apple Maps and email them if needed; both companies also blur license plates and faces for added security. - ➤ Vitalant, a nonprofit blood provider, reported a severe blood shortage this summer and is urging donations through July 31 so donors can enter to win up to $30,000 toward a car purchase. The campaign also offers a $25 reward for Type O donors who give blood twice by Aug. 31—upcoming drives in the region will help meet critical needs. KCRA
