Good morning, Roseville.

Roseville celebrates its annual 4th of July fireworks today with gates opening at 4:00 p.m. and fireworks slated to begin between 9:15 and 9:30 p.m. at the All American Raceway (parking is $15 and food vendors along with children’s activities will be available).

Placer County District Attorney’s Office in Roseville reminds residents to celebrate the 4th of July responsibly and avoid drinking and driving, noting that DUI charges can lead to jail, steep fines, and lasting financial hardship (the office also runs a public education campaign to reduce DUI incidents).

Placer SPCA advises pet owners to keep animals cool and safe during today’s Fourth of July festivities by providing a quiet indoor space and updating identification (tags and microchips) to prevent escapes during fireworks.

Owners should keep pets away from loud noises and harmful treats.
