Good morning, Roseville.

Placer SPCA published its 2024 Annual Report, showing that 2,335 animals found new homes, 408 lost pets were reunited, and 840 animals received care as the agency marked 52 years of service in the community; the report also noted that the organization will soon break ground on a new Veterinary and Foster Care Center—expanding its lifesaving mission for pets in Placer County.

Ticks are active all year and experts advise Roseville residents to check themselves after outdoor activities—if a tick is found, remove it quickly with tweezers and wash off to lower infection risks.

Using bug sprays with DEET and wearing long sleeves helps keep bites at bay during outdoor activities.
