- ➤ California lawmakers are proposing a new rule that limits how businesses and websites collect, keep, and sell location data after immigration raids raised concerns that federal agents may use such data to track undocumented immigrants—Assemblymember Chris Ward said the bill, known as AB 322, will bring accountability to a secretive industry while some business and law enforcement groups argue that current rules are enough.
