- ➤ A woman is accused of killing an elderly woman at 102 Richards Drive off Washington Boulevard in Roseville when police responded to a welfare check request on June 11—officials said the victim was already dead inside the home. KCRA

- ➤ The Placer County Board of Supervisors approved the 2025-29 Housing Action Plan Tuesday in Auburn. The plan will boost affordable housing by speeding up new construction and aims to add 1,300 achievable units by mid-2029. Roseville Today

- ➤ The Placer Mosquito and Vector Control District confirmed the first mosquito sample testing positive for West Nile virus in Placer County from a rural agricultural area west of Roseville (near Phillip Road).
