Good morning, Roseville.

The Tim Ching Memorial Golf Tournament will be held at Catta Verdera Country Club in Lincoln on June 15 with registration at 8:30 a.m. and a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m. Organizers with Kiwanis Clubs of Roseville and Citrus Heights have foursome spots and sponsorships to fund local children’s programs.

Roseville parents can curb surprise online charges by turning on parental controls and checking receipts regularly (a national survey shows 1 in 3 families face unauthorized orders averaging $170).

Experts say these steps help teach children financial responsibility.
