- ➤ A man driving a stolen yellow Corvette was arrested after a chase that started at 8 p.m. near Cook Riolo and PFE roads and ended when deputies used spike strips around Vineyard Road and Foothills Boulevard in Roseville at 8:12 p.m. KCRA
- ➤ Roseville Police responded to a disturbance call around 1 p.m. on May 21 at a home along Wadsworth Circle and Holt Parkway and arrested a man who barricaded himself and was believed to be armed—no injuries were reported. FOX40
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Firefighters responded on Wednesday afternoon to smoke near Interstate 80 in Placer County. Cal Fire said crews assisted the Tahoe National Forest in fighting a grass fire (believed to have started from an escaped debris burn pile) burning in steep, rugged terrain near Laing Road and Sailor Point Road.
