Here's your local news at a glance for Wednesday, the 23rd of April.
Good morning, Roseville.
🏘️ Community
The Roseville Coalition of Neighborhood Associations — a longtime local group — is hosting its first annual event, 'Sweet Celebrations: Honoring Roseville's Community,' for nearly 200 people this Friday, April 25 at Maidu Community Center, 1550 Maidu Drive.
The event — featuring awards for volunteers, locally donated desserts, and a silent auction — will honor the contributions of community members.
🏛️ Government
Federal transportation officials will enforce REAL ID for domestic flights starting May 7, and California flyers must use a compliant ID or face delays at TSA checkpoints—residents are urged to complete the DMV process promptly.
The REAL ID requirement affects everyone 18 and older who uses their state ID to board commercial flights.
