- ➤ On Wednesday, April 30th, Soroptimist International of Loomis Basin will host the family-friendly Fiesta Bingo fundraiser at Blue Goose Event Center at 3550 Taylor Rd — doors open at 5:00 p.m. and the event begins at 6:00 p.m.. Tickets cost $40 and include a Mexican dinner and a pack of nine bingo games while sponsorships for a table of eight are available. Roseville Today

- ➤ A Rocklin resident bought a Powerball ticket at Rocklin Mini Mart that matched five numbers to win $5.7 million + lottery officials said the jackpot will grow to an estimated $515 million by March 29. FOX40
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ At its March 20 meeting, the PCWA Board of Directors learned that water deliveries dropped due to damage at PG&E’s Lake Spaulding Powerhouses and higher pumping costs forced water conservation. PG&E is repairing Powerhouse No. 1 around the clock—repairs are expected to finish by summer and will cause a five-month disruption with reduced canal water deliveries. Roseville Today
