- ➤ Placer County is accepting vendor, exhibitor, sponsor and volunteer applications ahead of the 87th annual fair, which runs from June 26 to June 29 and is themed *Soundtrack to Summer* with concerts, rides, food booths and family fun. Applications for over 100 exhibit categories are due by 5:00 p.m. on May 5, with free entry for youth up to 18 and a $5 fee for adults. FOX40

- ➤ Rocklin police say a road rage incident on March 15 at the intersection of Whitney Ranch Parkway and Whitney Oaks Drive led to the death of a 64-year-old man and resulted in the arrest of a local father (65) and son (20), who face murder and conspiracy charges. Roseville Today
