Watercolor 101- Intro Class

About this event

Watercolor 101

Ever feel confused by watercolor and wish you could just take a deep dive into the medium? Curious about pigments, brands, brushes, papers, and what it all actually means? Then this class is for you.

We'll be exploring the foundations of watercolor through technique worksheets, demonstrations, and plenty of tips and tricks to help make sense of this beautiful medium.

This is not a project class. Instead, it's all about building knowledge and confidence so you can go home feeling equipped to tackle watercolor on your own or jump into one of our weekly watercolor classes with a stronger understanding of the basics.

Maybe you've always wanted to try watercolor but weren't sure where to start. Maybe you're already dabbling and want to understand why the paint behaves the way it does. Or maybe you simply want to immerse yourself in the magic, unpredictability, and beauty of watercolor. No experience is needed! ** This event is open to ages 10+ when attending with a paid, participating adult. Each child and adult must have their own ticket and participate in the workshop.

Perfect for beginners and anyone looking to build a stronger watercolor foundation.
