Woodshop Basics - Part 2 (of 2)

About this event

Level: Beginner, Intermediate Duration: 2 hours Group Size: Up to 3 students Certification: Grants access to the Woodshop with membership or studio day pass . Prerequisite: Woodshop Basics: Part 1 Build on your skills from Part 1 with this beginner-friendly follow-up class. You'll get hands-on experience with additional woodworking machines and techniques used for joinery and project building. You’ll learn:

• Safe use of the router table

• How to operate the band saw and jointer

• How to drill precise holes using the drill press

• Woodworking terms and joinery techniques

All tools and materials are provided. Supplies are included in the class fee. Important Notes:

• Register by 9:00 AM the day before class.

• Please sign up for the class via sacmade.com

• Wear shop-appropriate clothes: long pants, close-toed shoes, and hair tied back.

• Arrive 10–15 minutes early and sign our release of liability.

• Must agree to Made Studio's Woodshop Safety Rules.
