Casual ride from Historic Folsom, Beals Point and around Lake Natoma. 20 miles

About this event

Lets get in some cardio and ride 20 miles along the American River Bike Trail. Great ride for getting into hill riding shape. This is a fairly slow CASUAL ride (average 11-13 mph). We will be joining the Slightly Older cycling meetup group. We wait for everyone. The route takes us from Historic Folsom to the Johnny Cash Trail then up to Beals Point. We then ride down the BT along Lake Natoma to the Fish Hatchery. After a short break, we will return to Folsom along the BT. Be able to maintain an avg speed of at least 10 mph. Any type of bike is acceptable.

There is free parking at the Historic Folsom Garage located at 905 Leidesdorff Street. There is also other free parking in the area. Let's meet in front of the parking garage across from Karen’s Bakery. We will wait 5 mins before starting.
