In week 6 of our Faith in Action book study series We Were Made for These Times by Kaira Jewel Lingo we ask the question, “How do we keep ourselves from being blown about by the Eight Worldly Winds of pleasure and pain, loss and gain, praise and blame, shame and fame?” By cultivating the insight of ‘non-self’ we free ourselves from life’s ups and downs. Letting go with equanimity opens our mind to better meet times of trouble
