WWA Tuesdays at 10 at the Sierra 2 Senior Center - Embroidery Art: Creative Upcycling and Decorative Stitching

About this event

We will continue working on our embroidery art from last week . Participants will learn and practice embroidery stitches and designs while creating their own unique fabric art. Whether you’re new to embroidery or looking to build on your existing skills, this is a welcoming space to experiment with patterns, color, texture, and decorative stitching. Bring new life to a favorite piece of clothing, personalize a fabric item, or create a one-of-a-kind work of art! Participants are encouraged to bring their own fabric or clothing to upcycle and embellish, and Women’s Wisdom Art will provide embroidery supplies and additional fabric. Come unwind, explore your creativity, and enjoy the simple pleasure of making something by hand. All skill levels are welcome!

Women’s Wisdom Art offers free arts, writing, and wellness workshops for women through five Sacramento County nonprofits at six locations, along with public drop-in workshops and community events throughout Sacramento. All women are warmly welcome to join us in exploring creativity, building connections, and enjoying a supportive community.
