About this event
Got a lamp that won't light up? A favorite jacket with a torn seam? A dull knife, a squeaky bike, or a small appliance on the fritz? Don't throw it out—let’s fix it together! MADE is proud to host the Oak Park Fix-It Cafe crew here at 3519 Broadway! Once a month, our neighbors gather to share skills, tools, and a little conversation over coffee and treats. Bring your broken items and let skilled volunteer fix-it folks help you bring them back to life.
• What we can help fix: Small appliances, electronics/lamps, clothing/sewing, knives & tools, bikes, computer questions, and more!
• Cost: 100% FREE!
• Vibe: Always for everyone, no matter your background. Come to get something fixed, learn a new skill, or just hang out with neighbors over a cup of coffee.
Anyone who comes is enough, and newcomers are always welcome. See you there!
