Jane Austen Afternoon Tea

About this event

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a person in possession of a good appetite must be in want of afternoon tea. ☕

You are most cordially invited to Sotherton Tea Room's Jane Austen Afternoon Tea, where sense, sensibility, and a great many scones await.

Guests shall partake in our Queen's Tea Experience — a most lavish spread of savories, warm scones, decadent sweets, and, most happily, unlimited tea, as well as a glass of most effervescent champagne, ensuring conversation flows as freely as the wit.

The afternoon promises diversions most delightful: a trial of one's knowledge of Miss Austen's beloved novels, and the crowning of our Most Accomplished Guest — attendees are encouraged to dress in their finest Regency attire, for society is always watching.

Saturday, November 14th at 2:30pm

$60 per person, plus tax and 18% gratuity

Delay not, dear reader. For while fashions may fade and fortunes may change, a place at so charming a table is not easily reclaimed once lost.
