Viking Festival

About this event

Join the Sons of Norway-Roald Amundsen Lodge for a day of Scandinavian culture. Admission is free. There will be craft items, art, demonstrations, clothing, baked goods, Scandinavian food, Norwegian calendars, Scandinavian merchandise, and more. Lunch will be available for purchase: open-face sandwiches, fish soup, waffles, Viking on a stick, baked goods, and more. Bring your cash and get there early. Food and vendors may not take credit cards so bring cash. Get there early for the food, it goes fast! Special Note: Dark Boar Vikings will be there and have a living history Viking encampment. Come and see Viking period weaponry, weaving, wool yarn dying, and battle demonstrations. Take pictures wearing Viking Garb. There will be a game for the kids with prizes to win. Come ask questions and see the displays. The Vikings had an incredible history.
