Join us for a fun and brisk jaunt around Lake Natoma and /or Mississippi Bar. Route and pace TBD based on Event Host(s) and rider turnout. Pls RSVP via Meetup if you plan to join us. Update your RSVP if you can't make it.

Afterwards, join us for post ride libations at Gaslight on Sutter Street. Be sure to thank your volunteer ride leaders and/or perhaps buy them a post ride beer. ;)

RIDE SUMMARY: Skill Level: Strong Int/Advanced due to brisk pace of core group Terrain: Rolling hills with a couple of hard (but short) climbs. Distance: 12-15 Miles (occasionally, ride may extend to 17 to 20 mi) Ave Pace/Speed: 9-11 mph (faster on flats, slower on climbs) Gear: Well tuned MOUNTAIN bike, helmet, flat/chain repair stuff, etc. Sweep: No, unless someone volunteers. Check with Hosts prior to ride.

**NEW MEMBERS, BEGINNERS, or RIDERS returning to MTB after a long absence off the bike, pls read the following**: The core group of Friday riders tend to roll at a consistently swift pace due to their experience & fitness levels, and we don't always have volunteers to sweep. Please be sure you meet the skill/fitness criteria and come prepared with appropriate gear.

However, if you are somewhat familiar with the trail and wish to ride at a slower, self guided pace, or would be willing to lead a slower group, pls let us know in the comment section. We recommend downloading the MTB Project app on your phone. This trail tool will allow you to become familiar with and navigate the loop fairly easily. See below link. *Pls note, we start the loop from Folsom Light Rail Station.
