Artist Trading Card Mingle & Make

About this event

For those meeting up again: Please bring 3 ATC cards to trade and drop them off to Rayna or Nikki during check in (try not to show anyone else!) We will be discussing the theme for our next trades before we start!

For those of you who are new to Artist Trading Card Meetup:

Discover the fun of creating miniature works of art in our monthly Artist Trading Card (ATC) Meetup! Bring your favorite medium or explore ours as you create tiny, collectible pieces alongside fellow artists in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

What are Artist Trading Cards?

Artist Trading Cards, or ATCs , are original works of art measuring 2.5 x 3.5 inches , the same size as a baseball or Pokémon card. The only rule is the size. Everything else is up to you! Paint them, draw them, collage them, stamp them, use mixed media, or experiment with whatever inspires you. They are never copies or prints, only one-of-a-kind, handmade originals.

Each meetup includes 3 pre-cut artist trading cards to get you started. We’ll spend about 90 minutes creating , followed by 30 minutes to mingle, share, and trade with anyone who would like to participate. There is absolutely no pressure to trade. You’re welcome to keep everything you make, trade one card, or even bring cards you’ve created at home.

We’ll have a communal supply table stocked with watercolor, acrylic paint pens, alcohol markers, colored pencils, Micron pens, and plenty of reference materials to spark ideas. You’re also more than welcome to bring your own favorite supplies if you’d like to work with familiar materials.

This is a non-instructional meetup designed to encourage creativity, connection, and inspiration. Whether you’re an experienced artist or just looking for a relaxing creative evening, everyone is welcome.

Complimentary coffee and tea are always available, and you’re welcome to bring your own snacks.
